Northern Pennsylvania Regional College (NPRC), a partner at the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville’s Education and Training Hub, will participate in a winter open house held on Saturday, February 19 at 9:00 a.m., in the Broadhurst Science Center, Henne Auditorium on Pitt Titusville’s campus.
Prospective students will be able to meet with NPRC representatives from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. to discuss the programs offered at the Education and Training Hub and experience the technology NPRC uses to deliver their classes throughout the region. The programs NPRC offers at the Hub include associate degrees in applied technology, business administration, criminal justice, early childhood education, liberal studies, and social sciences; and a certificate in general studies that provides a pathway into Pitt-Titusville’s Associate of Science in Nursing. Following this information session, prospective students will come back together at 10:30 a.m. for a Q&A and closing remarks with all of the Hub’s partners.
The launch of Pitt-Titusville’s Education and Training Hub was celebrated in the fall of 2019. In addition to NPRC, the Hub’s partners include Pitt-Titusville, Swanson School of Engineering’s Manufacturing Assistance Center, and the Manchester Bidwell Corp. These partnerships were forged and brought together to offer classes and vocational training tailored to meet the needs of local and regional industry.
The Hub continues to serve as one of NPRC’s instructional locations.
All guests are asked to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status due to the ongoing COVID-19 concerns.
