What do I need to apply to the program?

What is the program length and mode of delivery?

The program is 192 hours, or seven weeks long. The curriculum combines live virtual classroom instruction and web-based learning components. The program follows a synchronous learning model where there is a set login time, and you will be given a limited time to complete the required coursework. This course features an instructor-moderated discussion board where you can interact with your instructor and student cohort. In addition, participants will receive hands-on experience which emphasizes the practical application of the various academic components including but not limited to customer service, quotations, and claims support.

Is this “Paid Training?”

A weekly stipend of $200.00-$400.00 is available. The stipend is performance-based and earned daily. The recipient of this stipend is expected to demonstrate consistent and satisfactory performance throughout the week to qualify for the full weekly amount. The daily earnings will be contingent upon the individual's adherence to performance metrics and objectives established by NAIP. Failure to meet the specified performance standards may result in a prorated adjustment to the stipend amount for the corresponding day(s). It is imperative for the recipient to maintain a level of excellence in their duties and responsibilities to ensure the full entitlement of the weekly stipend.

What are the College’s admission requirements?

NPRC is an open admission institution. We only require an application and your high school diploma or equivalent to enroll in academic courses.

Admissions requirements for workforce development classes vary. For example, EMT courses require attendees to be at least 16 years old, CDA admissions requires employment at a licensed childcare center, and CDL admissions requires department of transportation physicals and drug screens.

How much does NPRC cost?

Is financial aid available?

NPRC offers institutional aid and scholarships to eligible students and is working to be able to award and distribute federal financial aid in the future. Students in select programs may be eligible for additional funding opportunities through community organizations such as PA CareerLink® and the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation (OVR). Are credits transferrable?

The transferability of NPRC academic credits is determined by the receiving institution. NPRC has transfer agreements with institutions for students who plan to transfer to a four-year institution. We encourage students to speak with the college or university they wish to transfer credits to prior to attending classes with NPRC to confirm courses will transfer.

Workforce development programs are often not transferrable.
