Scott Olewine of Warren County joined the Board of Trustees at Northern Pennsylvania Regional College on Friday, January 9. He was sworn into his position at the Board of Trustees’ first meeting of 2026, held at the institution’s Administrative Center. His experience and knowledge will be great additions for the institution going forward.
Olewine is an experienced business professional with a strong background in finance. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance and Economics from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania and holds several professional designations from The American College. Olewine is the Founder and Managing Partner of Olewine Financial Group, LLC in Warren.
His current community and volunteer service includes being a board member for the Struthers Library Theatre. He previously served as a Board Member and the Entertainment Chair for the Conewango Club and on the board of Hospice of Warren County. Olewine commented about joining the College’s Board of Trustees, sharing “It’s an honor to be part of an institution that invests in our rural communities by making a quality education affordable and accessible to everyone.”
Chairperson for the Board of Trustees, Jamie Evens, shared what Olewine brings to the NPRC community. He stated, “The NPRC Board of Trustees is excited to welcome Scott. He brings a community focus and long-standing connections to the areas we serve, building on our goal of representation from each of the 10 counties in our primary service area. We believe his experience, skills, and knowledge will be beneficial to both the board and administration as we move the College forward into the next stage of our strategic plan.”
