Transferring from NPRC
Northern Pennsylvania Regional College is in the process of seeking candidacy for accreditation. As part of this process, beginning with the spring 2020 semester, NPRC is operating independently as a non-accredited institution. Please note the following:

However, upon, but not before, affirmation of the College’s accreditation, any student who attends NPRC during the College’s time as a candidate for accreditation will be able to say that they earned credits from an accredited institution.

The transferability of credits is determined by the receiving institution. Many institutions do not accept credits in transfer from institutions that are not accredited; other institutions do not accept any transfer credits. If you want to attend a college other than NPRC AND want to take classes at NPRC during high school AND you want those credits to transfer, we strongly recommend that you speak with the college you wish to attend prior to attending classes to get confirmation that they will accept credits earned at NPRC. You may be asked to provide a course description and/or syllabus to the institution as part of the evaluation. Visit PA TRAC to find a list of courses accepted to other colleges.
College transfer agreements, or articulation agreements, are made available to students who plan to transfer from NPRC to complete a four-year degree at another institution.

“From the first time I found out about
NPRC, I knew attending college was
something I wanted to pursue because

situations you do not want to be in for
better ones. I can’t say enough about how
