Institutional Aid

Where Affordable Opportunities are Endless

NPRC Institutional Aid
NPRC is working diligently toward institutional accreditation and is a Candidate Institution and member of the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. Accreditation will allow enrolled, eligible students to receive federal and state financial aid for their approved coursework in a degree-granting program.
All students are encouraged to apply for NPRC institutional aid using the online application found in the My NPRC Student Portal. Institutional aid is awarded to students who are enrolled in a 2-year Associate program, General Studies Certificate, or as a Dual Enrollment student (high school students taking college coursework) based on financial need. Tuition Waivers are awarded at four levels based upon financial need: 100% funding, 75% funding, 50% funding, and 25% funding. A textbook and course materials voucher may be awarded at a level in alignment with institutional aid received.
An Institutional Aid application must be submitted to be considered for Institutional Aid. Institutional Aid applications only need to be submitted once per academic year (Fall/Spring). Institutional aid awarded will be applied to your student billing account as pending aid until the aid is disbursed to the account. Students must maintain satisfactory academic progress to be eligible for institutional aid. If you plan to take summer coursework you must complete the Summer Aid Application to be considered.
Please read the following instructions carefully before applying for institutional aid.
Academic Year 2024-2025
Students seeking Institutional Aid will need to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and retain their FAFSA Submission Summary (FSS). Students will need to submit a copy of their Fedeal Student Summary that includes their Student Aid Index (SAI) number to the Office of Financial Aid to be considered for tuition assistance and a book scholarship. Institutional tuition assistance is determined by a student's SAI and cannot be completed without submission.
If you or a family member have experienced a significant change or an extenuating circumstance in income due to job loss, death of a parent or spouse, divorce, or significant medical expenses you may be eligible for a special circumstances appeal regarding your financial aid. If you would like more information, please contact our office at financialaid@rrcnpa.org regarding the special circumstances process.
Every effort will be made to process late applications in a timely manner, but the processing of late applications is not guaranteed by the start of classes and is subject to availability of funds. Late applicants should be prepared to have money for books and the student account balance.
If you have questions, email the Financial Aid office at financialaid@rrcnpa.org.

He was knowledgeable and made sure that everything we need is uploaded online and communicates well with us. He also held us accountable to make sure we were learning and ready. I enjoyed working alongside my amazing classmates and all the different experiences they brought to the course. Everyone in our class was eager to learn and was proactive about staying up to date on what is being asked of us.”

“Attending NPRC was truly life-changing for me and provided a foundation to pursue my passion for early childhood education. I gained the knowledge and skills needed to excel in this field. But it was bigger than just academics; my professors taught me valuable life lessons and instilled important values that have shaped who I am today. Overall, my college journey has not only prepared me for a successful career but has also equipped me with the mindset and tools to make a positive impact on the lives of young children.”
- Brittany, Early Childhood Education Graduate
“I had a fear that this degree would be unobtainable due to being a full-time employee and mother. With the support of family, friends, coworkers, and NPRC, I’ve gained confidence and support to continue my education.”

“From the first time I found out about
NPRC, I knew attending college was
something I wanted to pursue because
of how genuine the first interaction was.
I’m proof that finding the right path can
be done. It’s worth it to find ways out of
situations you do not want to be in for
better ones. I can’t say enough about how
NPRC’s employees have empowered and
advocated for me.”

"NPRC’s faculty, staff, and professors do
everything they can to see the students
succeed and provide us with exactly what
we need to do our best both inside the
classroom and out. The early childhood
education program is phenomenal. It was
a school that aided me in balancing class,
schoolwork, and my career. From the start
and throughout my time, NPRC made me
feel like I was at the right place.”
