Associate of Science
Program Description
This program provides groundwork upon which a student may build a four-year degree in various business-related majors. The program establishes foundational business knowledge, skills, and abilities for increased marketability applicable to a variety of business-related occupations.
Students have the opportunity to select between two specializations: General Business or Business Information Systems. General business courses are designed to go beyond the foundational level of information, while the business information systems equip students with skills in technology, data, and information systems.

In interactive class sessions, students may be involved in learning experiences that include:
Use of business technology tools that range from those used every day in an office setting to web analytics and database creation
Analyzing consumer behavior and market research and developing a comprehensive marketing plan
Exploring and analyzing effective and ineffective management styles
Analyzing ethical and legal issues relating to business and the laws, rules, and regulations involved in settling business disputes
Career Outlook in Business Administration
