Continuing Education Students
NPRC welcomes certified teachers from across the state of Pennsylvania. Act 48 students can take courses at NPRC for a low cost and at a location nearest them or online. Before applying, we encourage you to speak with your employer and an NPRC team member to ensure your coursework at NPRC will fulfill your personal Act 48 requirements.

Act 48 Opportunities at NPRC
NPRC is happy to welcome Act 48 students into our open enrollment workforce development courses or host a customized training for a group of educators at your place of employment.
Workforce Development Courses: Act 48 students are welcome to complete any open-enrollment workforce development courses identified as eligible for Act 48 credits.
Customized Training Courses: NPRC's Workforce Development division offers a wide collection of customized training courses designed to meet the needs of local school districts or educational employers. These courses are designed to train a collection of students at the same time on specific topics and can be brought right to you! One specific program helpful to educators offered by NPRC is our Education Team and Leadership Certification Course. Additionally, coursework in emergency medical services is available to aid professional's in need of recertifications or advanced education.
