Associate Degrees
Business Administration
This program provides groundwork upon which a student may build a four-year degree in various business-related majors. The program establishes foundational business knowledge, skills, and abilities for increased marketability applicable to a variety of business-related occupations.
Program Goals
Upon successful completion of this program, students will successfully be able to:
- Use digital technology, business application software, and technology-mediated collaboration tools to complete tasks
- Develop foundational knowledge of a variety of business models and apply business model appropriately in decision-making situations
- Perform effectively in a team environment by applying business theories, concepts, and practices with sensitivity to diversity
- Apply ethical reasoning to business situations through the demonstration of knowledge pertaining to how business behavior and policies impact society or the individual
Business Management
This program equips students with the practical skills and industry knowledge needed to excel in leadership, operations, and decision-making within various business environments. This program emphasizes hands-on learning and real-world applications, preparing graduates for immediate entry into the workforce or career advancement in management roles.

- Developed a strong foundation in various business models
- Applied management principles and ethics to real-world decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational strategy
- Applied ethical reasoning and strategic decision-making to business scenarios
- Completed an externship or work-based learning experience to apply business management concepts in a real-world setting, develop professional skills, and build industry connections for career readiness
Workforce Programs
Supervisory Fundamentals
This program explores the fundamentals of supervision including roles and responsibilities, communication skills, building collaborative relationships, and contemporary leadership practices. NPRC's team takes students through a course designed to educate an introduction to supervisory roles and functions in today's workforce with activities that include exercises that will guide students through examining supervisor's roles, the importance of effective communication, and ways to improve collaboration in the workplace.
Insurance Agent Training
This program provides theoretical knowledge and practical skills for success in one of the most stable industries in the world, the insurance industry. The instruction is provided through a synchronous, online learning experience. Emphasis is placed on hands-on training covering diverse industry facets such as consultancy, customer service, underwriting, claims handling, and agency management systems. The program will also help learners work towards state licenses in property, casualty, life, accident, and health insurances.
