Basic Blueprint Reading for Precision Machining (20 hours)

This training is designed to provide the student with the basic skills to interpret shop drawings. Emphasis is placed on interpreting orthographic projection and tolerance application. Through its completion, students will be able to identify and interpret basic blueprint views, types, and uses; sketch multi-view parts; understand finish symbols; and identify and interpret GD&T symbols.
