NPRC Appoints Two New Trustees To Begin 2020

Northern Pennsylvania Regional College’s dedicated Board of Trustees come together monthly to work toward advancing the mission and vision of the College. Following the February meeting of the Board of Trustees, NPRC announces the appointment of two new board members to begin their terms in 2020.

Joining the Board of Trustees is Mr. Robert Esch, Bradford, PA, and Dr. Adrienne Dixon, Erie, PA.

Mr. Esch is no stranger to NPRC. He was an active member of the Educational Consortium of the Upper Allegheny (ECUA), the organization that helped establish the need for NPRC. A first-generation college student himself, Mr. Esch recently retired as the Vice President for External Affairs from the American Refining Group in Bradford. He is President of CASA of McKean County, has been active with the McKean County Community Foundation, served as the Vice-Chairman of the Bradford Area Public Library, is on the Personnel & Safety Committee for the Bradford Sanitary Authority, and is on the Board of the Bradford Landmark Society.

Dr. Dixon has a long history with the Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center where she has been providing clinical and administrative support for over 30 years. Additionally, she serves as the Program Head and Associate Professor for the Counseling Program at Edinboro University. Dr. Dixon has earned a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology and a master’s degree in counseling, both from Gannon University, and a BA from Thiel College in Greenville. She holds a post-master’s certificate in Marital and Family Therapy.

NPRC board Chairperson, Mrs. Kate Brock, St. Marys, PA, expressed that the new board members, “Bring a wealth of experience and new perspectives to the Board.” The next regular meeting of the NPRC Board of Trustees is March 13.
